Please join us in congratulating our October employee of the month, Susan Jalbert, Compliance Officer, Research Integrity Services (RIS). Her outstanding work in support of the human subject protections programs and the Â鶹Éç, KSC, and PSU Institutional Review Boards (IRBs) and Â鶹Éç humane care and use of vertebrate animals program, and the Â鶹Éç Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) has improved the integrity, efficiency, and success of each institution’s research enterprise.

Sue consistently carries out her responsibilities at an exceptionally high level. In her administrative work and her IRB member work, she demonstrates outstanding attention to detail, sound judgment, organization, and professionalism. 

Sue routinely takes on new responsibilities, steps in to support colleagues, and identifies ways to improve processes or strengthen the effectiveness of our unit’s work. Sue can always be relied upon to recognize what needs to be done and take the initiative to do it. 

Sue demonstrates excellence in all aspects of her work. She is skilled, dependable, collaborative, generous with her time, expertise, and experience, and committed to the mission of our unit and the Â鶹Éç mission.
