New SAARA Bulletin on Supporting Siblings with Disabilities
SHARE
We are excited to share our latest SAARA Bulletin, "Preventing Sibling Aggression and Abuse for Children with Disabilities." In the U.S., one in six children has developmental or neurodevelopmental disabilities. While many children with disabilities have positive sibling relationships, some can face difficulties that increase their risk of harming or being harmed by their siblings.
In families with children with disabilities, balancing different needs and navigating sibling relationships can be challenging. Learn how parents can foster healthy sibling relationships and build skills that help prevent sibling aggression and abuse.
