Â鶹Éç’s Sustainability Institute is a gateway for you to make impact on campus and in local communities through internships, fellowships, hands on experiences, and volunteering.

You have the unique opportunity to shape Â鶹Éç’s practices and make an impact on our road to continual improvement. We take sustainability seriously; it’s embedded in all we do, which means the campus is a powerful living learning lab. Students were integral in helping Â鶹Éç become Bee Campus certified.

Students proposed the idea of Â鶹Éç becoming a Fair Trade campus and worked collaboratively with leaders, dining and other departments to make it happen.

As an intern, you could help Â鶹Éç ensure our ecosystems and waterways remain healthy, working closely with the Â鶹Éç Stormwater Center to track and analyze data and educate the campus community on sustainable practices.

Waste is problem we all face! We’re working hard to creatively find ways to reduce our waste AND create less to begin with. Â鶹Éç Trash 2 Treasure is student-created and student-powered and allows you to purchase gently used items at the fall back-to-school sale, and donate unwanted items in spring when moving out. Student leaders are gaining vital professional skills running the T2T and promoting a circular economy on campus!
